I let Pepper feel like a big shot sometimes by having the toy  for a while,  while I

 chase after him, but in the water, he is fast and always gets to it first.

Sometimes I go out to play without Pepper and get all the toys to

 myself. When I am in the water, I can just grab a drink anytime.

I love the water so much and don't like to come out of it, but when Mom calls

me then I have to come in. Usually, she makes me stay out

  until I stop dripping and I like to sit near the

 edge of the water listening to the noises from afar. Before we go in the house I sometimes

 get to fetch a stick . (I think it's actually another way Mom uses to get

 the water out of my heavy fur coat so I don't drip all over the house.)

Now that I know how to

 swim, I have a lot of fun in the water. The pond

is a lot bigger   than the tub that I used to have baths in

 while

  it was winter.  I have never gone to the other side.

 I think some day I will swim there. But for now I will just play  with my toys

   on this side.   I sure do   get wet!  

I like to taste things outdoors like bugs and grass

 but Mom doesn't let me play in the flowers. So I often Sit near them

 looking  out over the water until I see something to get

into. Lots of times, chase bugs into the water, but they fly up in the air

and I haven't learned how to fly yet. Woof.

Ate The Floor

So Mom & Dad Had To Put Down A New One

Every week on Dad's day off, he and Mom work on putting down a new floor in

 the house to replace all the linoleum that I have been tearing up I always have to watch

 from the other room while they work on it and I know it's a lot of work. It's been very hard,

 but  I have been  real good and don't chew it any more.. Mom and Dad call it the

  Sophie Floor and I kinda like that.

We all took a break from the floor this weekend and went to the winter land

  where it was very cold like when I was little.

Mom got me a backpack

so I can help her carry things.. I feel very grown up and useful when I

wear it on our walks.  and I can even lay down   with it on my back,

 but Mom has to take it of before I go   in the water to  play. with the

 diving

 rings that Mom throws   in for me to find I have to stick

   my whole head  under the water to find them and I get very wet.
