 I Am A Newfoundland Dog

When I was just 8 weeks old I left

my birth home at Kayla Bear Newfies and came to live with my new family. I

 had brothers and sisters, but my

 new Mom & Dad only saw me

 with one brother because my other siblings had already gone

away to their new homes. My Canine Mom wished me well and

my Canine Dad didn't much seem to care that I was leaving home

 because he was expecting more pups soon with another wife.

So off I went in a truck on the lap of my new Mom, on a trip that seemed to

 take for ever.

When we got to my new home, I met my new play mates, Pepper who

 is an

English Springer Spaniel, and Kitty who is a Maine Coon Cat.

It was a little bit scary when my new  Dad put me down on the kitchen floor,

so I hid under something big for a while. I was pretty hungry, so when they

 put some  food on the floor  I ate it all up and that's when I knew I was

 going to like my new home. I slept in a big crate that night and the next day,

my dad took me outdoors in  the wet sleet and I tried to catch some

with my tongue. Then a while later, I had my first  visitors when a nice friend

of the family came over to give me a new toy   and I met her

Welsh Corgis.  Phoebe and Emma.   All this new activity wore me out and

I soon needed a long nap.

The next few days, I kept my Mom & Dad hoppin' as I drank a

lot of water and peed even more. I love my new brother

 Pepper and he thinks the world of me At nine weeks of age, everybody thinks that I am about

 as cute as a button! When I go outside now, there is white snow on

 the ground and  it feels nice and cold to me. So I like to go out in it a

 lot. When I  go back in the  house the door doesn't seem to open

  until Mom comes up the stairs and then we both go in.
